Entering the Tunnel

We’d like to think when we start a new project it’s the light at the end of the tunnel. Somehow, you know where you’re going and you can see clearly.

Accept, of course, you can’t see exactly where you’re going and you don’t see clearly. It’s a blur with darkness around the edges and only a flicker of inspiration or insight to guide you.

At the beginning, you know the least you’ll ever know about  your adventure, else why take the journey in the first place? If you already know everything, then there is no reason to begin. There are no new sunrises to see. No new snowflakes. No new faces. No surprises. Nothing of interest. Nothing to report.

So although I cannot promise you exactly where I’m going, I can tell you we will travel to the dim rails of the past, rusted over by time, but still shining with light.

Let the journey begin and let us not fear the darkness or the light.
